On the night of October 31 to November 1, the world celebrates Halloween or All Saints’ Day Eve. The holiday is considered the creepiest of the year, because on this day evil spirits come to earth. Spooky costumes and scary faces carved out of pumpkins help protect you from them.
Ancient people believed that the border between the world of the living and the dead opens on this night. To protect themselves, people extinguished hearths and donned fearful clothing.
Nowadays, it is not necessary to wear a scary costume, it can even be a character from a children’s fairy tale. It is very popular on the night of the holiday to light candles in pumpkins with slits cut out for eyes and mouth, visiting neighbors with the words: “Trick or treat!” This information and pictures with short quotes are very useful on the eve of the approaching holiday.
Halloween starts earlier and earlier, just like Christmas
When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be your on Halloween
Every day is Halloween, isn’t it? For some of us
There is magic in the night when pumpkins glove by moonlight
Where there is no imagination there is no horror
Sticky fingers tired feet; One last house, trick or treat!
Hell is empty and all the devils are here
Eat, drink and be scary
Say boo and scary on
By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes
A mask tells us more than a face
Be afraid…be very afraid
We make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones
Whatever you do, don’t fall asleep
Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can’t see where it keeps its brain
This is my costume. I’m a homicidal maniac. They look just like everyone else
Have you come to sing pumpkin carols?
There is something haunting in the light of the moon
I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers
Every day is Halloween, isn’t it? For some of us
Where there is no imagination, there is no horror
By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes
We have had our summer evenings, now for October eves!
It’s Halloween, everyone’s entitled to one good scare
Something wicked this way comes
Trick or treat, bag of sweets, ghosts are walking down the street
The dead rise again, bats fly, terror strikes and screams echo, for tonight it’s Halloween
I’ll stop wearing black when they make a darker color
Where there is no imagination, there is no horror.
